As Team Chaplain, Mr. Gosseaux provides personal and spiritual support to the student-athletes, coaches and staff during the entire school year. His role is designed to be one of encouragement, vision and leadership. While being in concert with the coaches, he also maintains a special relationship with the captains of the men's tennis team in assisting to develop their role in leadership through the filter of discipleship. Chaplain Gosseaux is often called upon to provide a healthy, balanced perspective to the entire team, making athletics at Neumann College distinctive.

 

A graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Chaplain Gosseaux was a Special Agent for the FBI for 28 years. He earned a masters degree in Public Administration from Penn State University and came to Neumann in 2000 to develop the criminal justice program after he retired from the FBI. . Mr. Gosseaux is an avid tennis player, playing 3 times a week, both inside and outside year around. He has assisted the coaching staff in integrating the competitiveness of sport, spirituality, and character development into the aggressive daily practices and the assertive competition that athletic teams endure on a volunteer basis since 2002.
