Neumann College, as mandated by the NCAA, has a Faculty Athletic Representative (F.A.R.). The primary responsibilities of the F.A.R. are to evaluate and ensure the academic integrity of the intercollegiate athletics program, to facilitate institutional control and to enhance the student-athletes' experience while monitoring student-athlete welfare.The F.A.R. attends to issues of academic integrity, compliance, student-athlete welfare and communication between the institution and the NCAA and the institution and its athletics program. Currently, the F.A.R. at Neumann College is Dr. Sandy Slabik of the Sports Management Department. Student-athletes should feel free to contact Dr. Slabik if they have concerns in any of these areas.
